The Institute for Substance-Assisted Therapy supports external research on topics related to the development of substance-assisted therapy. This research focuses not on pharmacological research, but on its therapeutic application. To this end, the institute collaborates with universities and other research institutions. This could also include research into the therapies implemented by the institute or its staff, or a comparison of different therapy methods or forms of substance-assisted therapy. The IST may also conduct such research itself.
